NOVA PATIENT CARE is certified to provide Department of Transportation Physical Examinations. DOT physicals have 24 months validity. Take note that when needed to monitor conditions, such as high blood pressure, the medical examiner may issue a certificate for less than 24 months.

If the person’s result is deemed physically qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle, the medical examiner will issue a Medical Examiner’s Certificate and a copy of the results, provided that there are no underlying conditions, physical and mental, that will require more testing.
